Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out high school, and relocating to Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. Even though she had financial difficulties, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murder victim Martha Moxley. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she was the main character for the initial two seasons. She was also awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace was a co-star with Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, wanted to move to film. In addition, she appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. The same character was played by Grace on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace returned to the Lost series in the final two episodes as Shannon. She was in 2013 for the sixth episode of Californication. She portrays Faith as a groupie, and is also a model the stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She's a Gyllenhaal, the child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), as well as older than Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in the films of her father when he was an adolescent. Along with her brother, she also appeared as a character in Donnie Darko (2000). She also starred as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Also, she appeared in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's first film as a director and writer was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award.
